The title of the program came from the announcer's introduction of the contestants on an earlier, more famous ABC game show, The Newlywed Game, which began with: From the Chuck Barris stages in Hollywood, California, here come the newlyweds!
Young Joe, the Forgotten Kennedy is a 1977 television movie that originally aired on ABC. Based upon the biography by Hank Searls called The Lost Prince: Young Joe, the Forgotten Kennedy, the film chronicles the life of Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., the unlucky older brother of John F. Kennedy. Young Joe stars Peter Strauss in the titular role and was directed by Richard T. Heffron.
Hopkins is a seven-part documentary TV series set at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, a teaching hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. The theme for the show "So Much to Say" was written by songwriter Matthew Puckett. The series won a Peabody award. Created as a real-life adjunct to the ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy, it follows the professional lives of hospital caregivers and their patients. The show is a follow-up to the ABC Special Hopkins 24/7, from 2000. Boston Med, which aired on ABC in June–August 2010, was produced by the same team behind Hopkins.
Celanese Theatre is an anthology television series which aired from October 3, 1951 to June 25, 1952 on ABC. The show aired as a 60-minute program on Wednesdays at 10pm ET. Beginning on January 9, 1952, the show aired in a 30-minute version which ran from 10pm to 10:30pm ET. The series was produced by the Celanese Corporation and the William Morris Agency, and featured plays by Maxwell Anderson, Philip Barry, Rachel Crothers, Eugene O'Neill, S. N. Behrman, Elmer Rice, John Van Druten, Sidney Howard, Paul Osborn, and Robert E. Sherwood. The show alternated with Pulitzer Prize Playhouse. For a short period beginning in October, Celanese Theatre alternated with a short-lived program King's Crossroads.

It starred Richard Libertini as a middle-aged comedy writer married to a much younger wife, and focused on the trials and tribulations he faced raising two stepchildren and one biological child. Originally a midseason project, the series aired during the Summer and briefly aired in Australia on the Nine Network. i-CAUGHT featured news stories based on video images captured by cell phones, webcams, surveillance cams, and the internet – as well as looking at what happens to the people involved after their video is seen publicly. Among those featured in the premiere was liquid dancer David Bernal, better known to the video-viewing public as David Elsewhere.

Animals, Animals, Animals is an educational television series on ABC about different species of animals. The program, produced by ABC News, was hosted by Hal Linden. Information about animals was provided by Roger Caras and, songs about animals were performed by Lynn Kellogg, who also performed the opening theme song. Zoo personnel and animal researchers frequently appeared on the show. During segments about animals, voiceover was provided by Estelle Parsons and Mason Adams. The show first aired in 1976, replacing Make a Wish on ABC's Sunday morning schedule. The series won Emmies for four consecutive years and the Peabody Award. 1978 Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Informational Series. Animated segments were provided by Al Lowenheim, Arland Barron, Jeff Melquist, Jim Comstock, Ray Pointer, and Stacey Mann of Lions' Den Studio and David Labelle of David Labelle Animation Studios. Five years later, in 1981, Animals, Animals, Animals was replaced by This Week with David Brinkley; this marked the end of ABC's scheduling of children's programming on Sunday mornings, a practice which began with Discovery in the 1960s.

Each short webisode features Mike, played by Ezra Godden, with his voicemail messages played in the background. As each message plays they help explain Mike's actions. In the episode entitled "Supplies", for example, Mike is seen making a giant ball out of masking tape while a series of voicemails from his boss asking him where the tape is going.
