La Teniente takes a cinematic approach to scripted TV, using locations throughout Mexico and top Spanish-language TV actors as it depicts the adventures of a Special Operations unit of the Mexican Navy. Centering on Mexican Naval graduate Lieutenant Roberta Ballesteros (María Fernanda Yepes), the series shows the challenges facing her immediate and emotional entry into the elite Special Operations unit after a violent tragedy occurs to the group. The series follows her assimilation into the unit, which is filled with drama, action, love triangles, heroes and family.

The series premiered on 27 September 2010, at 10pm, sharing La Loba's timeslot.

Quererte Así 2012
Quererte Así is a Mexican telenovela produced by Eric Vonn for Azteca. Filming lasted from January 30, 2012 to June 15, 2012. During the week of April 16, TV Azteca broadcast Quererte Así weeknights at 7:30pm. From April 23 to May 25, TV Azteca moved the telenovela from 7:30pm to 6pm. From May 28 to August 3, 2012, it was moved again from 6pm to 4pm. On July 27, TV Azteca announced that broadcasts of Quererte Así would end on August 3, 2012, due to low ratings, with Corazón Apasionado replacing it. As a result, only 80 episodes were broadcast on Azteca out of the 120 episodes that were filmed. Telenovela is normally sold internationally with 120 episodes.

Mirada de Mujer 1997
Mirada de mujer is a Mexican telenovela, which was produced by and broadcast on TV Azteca in 1997, based in the Colombian telenovela of 1994 " Señora Isabel". It is considered one of the best Telenovelas in the history of the television industry in Mexico. It came a year after TV Azteca's first telenovela, Nada personal and was the first telenovela in that TV station for its five mayor stars, who had been working for the rival station, Televisa, prior to this production. In 2003 the sequel for this telenovela Mirada de mujer: El Regreso was produced. This telenovela can be dated so far as the only TV Azteca telenovela that got the TVyNovelas Award as Best Telenovela of the Year in a shocking moment, making Televisa know to the audience the respect that got over his competitor product as long as the TVyNovelas Awards are only given to Televisa programs. Aside from enjoying wide viewership in Latin America, it was also broadcast in countries like Afghanistan and Israel and Eastern Europe. In India, this was shown by Sahara TV, dubbed in Hindi, under the title of Maria.
