Mille Soya, is a film depicting a dangerous and hazardous journey by a young Sri Lankan group to rich Europe. They are subject to deceptions by the intermediaries, betrayals by friends, arrests while crossing the borders and even death.

The film deals with the inter-ethnic, communal violence between Sinhalese and Tamils. It demonstrates the ambivalence of the Sinhala socio-political establishment towards the Tamil people.

This is a tale weaving love, betrayal, and adventure. "Mandara" unfolds around the lives of sports star Mandara, engineer Vishwa, orphan heiress Yashora, and her uncle Bharatha. The story revolves round three teenagers - Prageeth (Roshan), a younger, darker version of Hugh Grant, the son of a business tycoon (Corea), whose fiance is Veena (Anarkali); Sithum (Pubudu), the son of a Postman (Jayalath) is in love with Pooja, (Chathurika) while Ramith who says he comes from the middle class, and is seduced by his biology teacher who as luck would have it lives in an apartment directly opposite his block of flats, nevertheless, voices every teenagers views of life when he says all he wants to do is to take things easy.

An elderly man who regrets certain events in his past life displays his struggle to relieve the bottled-up feelings which had disturbed him throughout his life. Opening with the funeral of the elderly Guneris' wife the film follows the revelation of his past which is filled with a number of tragic events including a triple murder he had committed 52 years ago.

35 year old bachelor Jehan and his partner in crime Priyantha try to exploit the loopholes in the law in order to make a living.Koombiyo tells the story of Jehan Fernando, who has neither family nor home and lives alone in an abandoned building complex in Colombo. He accidentally meets Hiruni and Priyantha Mahaulpathagama in a public bus when Priyantha is coming to Colombo on his search for a job. Jehan convinces Priyantha to abandon the job he is going for and join Jehan's company Purchasing Lanka instead, which delivers retail items to customers claiming they are from supermarkets when in reality they are bought from the local flea markets. The show was hosted by Lucky Dias earlier and now it is hosted by Chandana Sooriyabandara. Main goal of the game is to win 2 million Sri Lankan rupees by answering 15 multiple-choice questions correctly. The show is on broadcast from September 18, 2010 to today. It is telecasted on the private TV station Sirasa TV.The New season of the show started on 19 October 2012 and is now telecasting every Friday 9.00pm Sri Lankan Time on Sirasa TV. To take part in the show participants need to dial the 7788 IVR voice short code on their phones and answer a random set of questions.
