Лос Анђелес, година је 2019. Корпорација Тајрел генетским модификацијама креира репликанте тј. хуманоидне андроиде чија је једина сврха понижавајући рад у корист људи на удаљеним Земљиним колонијама. Репликанти су физички снажнији од људи, уграђена им је лажна свест о људском пореклу, а поседују и способност развијања властитих осећаја. Како би се осигурала од евентуалних нежељених последица емотивног сазревања људских „робота“ из властите радионице, корпорација програмира њихов животни век на свега 4 године. Проблеми настају када се шесточлана скупина новог Нексус 6 модела репликаната, предвођена харизматичним Рој Батијем, отима надзору и бежи на Земљу. У френетичној потрази за својим „творцем“, они почињу да сеју смрт и хаос у Лос Анђелесу. Тада на сцену ступа пензионисани полицајац Рик Декард, припадник организације Блејд Ранер, он добија задатак да пронађе и уништи одбегле репликанте. У том процесу Декард ће се наћи и усред битке с властитим демонима…

На почетку нове авантуре, научник Брус Банер очајнички трага за леком против радијације гама-зрацима која је мутирала његове ћелије и дала маха необузданом и силовитом бесу у њему - Хулку. Заплет филма заснован је на еколошкој катастрофи коју је изазвао Хомер Симпсон неодговорним бацањем отпада у спрингфилдско језеро. Спрингфилд је и иначе најзагађенија средина у земљи, а Хомеров чин је кап која прелива чашу па председник Шварценегер, по наговору директора ЕПА ( Агенција за заштиту околине), доноси одлуку да цео град стави у карантин (под куполу) и тиме спречи проширење загађења на целу земљу.

Скот Ленг се бори са последицама својих одлука, као супер херој и као отац. Док покушава да уравнотежи свој породични живот са одговорностима које има као Антмен, Хоуп ван Дајн и др Хенк Пим га позивају на нови задатак. Скот још једном мора да обуче своје суперхеројско одело и научи да се бори заједно са Осом, док цео тим ради на откривању тајни из њихове прошлости.

Џон Мурдок се буди сам у непознатом хотелу и открива да је изгубио памћење и да је тражен због низа бруталних и бизарних убистава. Док покушава спојити делове своје прошлости запиње у сотонском подземљу контролисаном од групе познате као Странци који имају способност успављивања људи и измењивања града и становника. Главни лик филма је амбициозни радник у циркусу који има способност да само са пар речи изманипулише било кога. Заводи психотерапеуткињу за коју се испоставља да је много опаснија од њега.

Филм почиње савршеном недужношћу. Видимо жену, стоји гола у својој соби. У Бонином погледу видимо да се осећа заробљеном у малом градићу и да жуди за авантуром. А Клајд, ухваћен у крађи аутомобила делује као школарац који тражи само мало узбуђења. Прву пљачку, Клајд је починио само да би показао Бони да он то може. Кроз већи део филма, чини се да Клајд не само да не жели, већ и да не може да води љубав са Бони. Ово је велики контраст у односу на представу мушког хероја у тадашњим филмовима, и још једном потврђује представу Клајда као недужног, збуњеног, несташног дечака. Како филм тече, и њих двоје постају све насилнији и Клајд је све ближи томе да води љубав са Бони. И коначно, пред крај филма, то се и дешава. То је тренутак када од Клајда, младића склоног несташлуку, настаје окорели криминалац. Ово се не дешава само са Бони и Клајдом већ и са целом бандом.

U tom svom haosu, pre nego Trenč i Stigman ustanove ko su, šta su i prave motive svojih kolega, postaju mete okrutnog CIA službenika Erla (Bill Paxton) čiji su novac zapravo ukrali iz banke.
