The movie is based on a Fatmir Gjata screenplay. Gjata had written a novel with the same title earlier. The events evolve in the 1950s. The main character, Tana, is a smart, outgoing and progressive young woman. She is in love with Stefan (Naim Frashëri) and they both live in an unnamed mountain village in Albania. Tana has to face the old mentality of her old grandfather and she also has to fight the jealousy of Lefter . It is a love game, while socialist progress is highlighted as is often in the socialist realism.

X Factor Albania is the Albanian version of The X Factor, adapted from the original UK series to find new singing talent. The first season started in January 8, 2012, and it is broadcast by TV Klan. The judges are: Albanian singer from Macedonia Altuna Sejdiu, Albanian singer Soni Malaj, Albanian superstar Alban Skënderaj and the famous composer Pandi Laço. The show is hosted by Alketa Vejsiu. She applied to acquire the rights of the show along with Top Channel and TV Klan. Syco TV gave the rights to her, then she sold parts of the rights to TV Klan. After losing the rights of The X Factor, Top Channel acquired the rights of the not so famous Talent show, The Voice.
The Voice of Albania is a singing competition in Albania. As a result the channel acquired the rights of The Voice. The show premiered in late 2011. The rules of the show are based from The Voice of Holland and The Voice. Top Channel announced that the judges of this year's The Voice of Albania will be the four most famous artists of Albania and Kosovo.
