När ett kompisgäng ger sig iväg på en födelsedagsresa till Napa Valley förvandlas den noggrant planerade helgen snabbt till ett vinindränkt kaos.

Det här är en berusande intelligent bitterljuv komedi som handlar om Miles, en nyskild misslyckad författare som tar med sin vän Jack, en avdankad skådespelare, på en resa genom Kaliforniens vindistrikt. Miles ambition att dela med sig av sin passion för goda viner är dock bortslösad eftersom Jacks intresse snarare kretsar kring kvinnor. Resan tar en oväntad omväg när det komiskt udda paret tvingas utforska sina egna misslyckanden och snart finner de sig drunkna i vin, kvinnor och... skratt!
