The demons of extreme nationalism regularly recur in Poland. Likewise, a growing level of internal social and political polarization. For the last few years the celebrations of the Independence Day ended up in violent demonstrations, the devastation of Warsaw and brutal clashes between the extreme nationalist elements with the police and leftist activists. Internal conflicts and political tensions had been growing in the days preceding the parliamentary elections. Protests, demonstrations and manifestations. Tensions were growing. On the 25th of October 2015 the elections took place. The effects of the elections, resulting in democratic crisis, are all widely commented not only in Poland.
Living in the harsh conditions of the desert, two young brothers resort to a life of crime in order to survive. While one is dangerously involved with opium dealers, the other steals fuel from trucks then sells it back to the drivers. In the midst of an arid landscape, the pair pay little heed to their nefarious lifestyle. But as they interact with various people over the course of a single day, the brothers feel the winds of change in the air.

A walking area, work in the tailor’s workshop, a modest meal, an everyday dose of medications taken under the control of medical personnel, an extremely crowded cell – it is a day like every day. No needless words. A moving story of Russian prisoners who have been put into a psychiatric hospital to serve their sentences. It was filmed in Chernyakhovsk (Kaliningrad Oblast) and Syczowce (Smolensk Oblast).
Reporter Egon Ryś accidentally meets Scarecrow. He decides to give him a ride to the scarecrow convention, seeing it as a good topic for an article. The chairman of the meeting, Beelzebub, states that no one is afraid of them anymore, so they should start helping people instead of scaring them. Most of the ghosts are delighted with this idea, but the nobleman Boruta is opposed. He decides to sabotage his colleagues' activities.
Bendkowski tests in this film the expressive potential of the cinematic medium. The work is based on an attempt, characteristic for this artist, to balance an incredibly colorful, spectacular visual layer with a faithfulness to a rigorous, rationally constructed structure of the work. -1,2,3... The life of the main protagonist could become the basis for a feature film script. The ambitious boy spends part of the day picking strawberries together with his father. Yet Hubert wants to become a disco polo singer, as famous as Zenek Martyniuk, so after work he focuses on his musical passion. The boy starts with gigs at local fairs and records music videos to his songs. He has an ear for music, dreams about concerts attended by thousands and – which is most essential – has the support of his family that is won over by his enthusiasm.
Betina Bożek invites the spectators to the journey to Kaprysia, a planet invented by herself. Its residents spend time at work, in the gym or in the bar and prepare themselves for a great party. Anything is allowed in their crazy world and they change their irregular shapes fluently, depending on the mood. On the day of the party, they have to deal with the invasion of strangers from an alien planet – bitter and blue geometric figures. Who will win this skirmish? The film is a wild animation affirming joy and good fun.
Olaf is 25 years old and lives with his mom and grandmother in a tenement house in the Kazimierz district in Krakow. Their home is actually quite dilapidated. Yet the young man dreams that the house in Brzozowa Street is the centre of the universe. The unique narrative is enhanced by a surreal impression of living in an abandoned house. Olaf notices metaphysical consequences of living in the vicinity of a square shaped like the “eye of god”: “There are moments when my mind transcends time and space” he says.
Film focuses on story of a woman whose fears and obsessions are taking over her everyday routine, transforming her life into all-embracing jungle. It symbolizes the struggle with personality disorders while being in a relationship with beloved one. It is an visual analysis on separation anxiety disorder that occurs mostly in childhood but can be present at all stages of life.
