เรื่องราวของ วี (รับบทโดย เอ็มม่า โรเบิร์ต) นักเรียนไฮสกูลสาวที่ติดเกมออนไลน์ที่ท้าทายผู้เล่นแนว จริงหรือกล้า (Truth or Dare) ในชื่อ "NERVE" อย่างงอมแงม ช่วงที่เข้าสู่เกมแรกๆ เธอจับคู่กับหนุ่มหล่อ เอียน (รับบทโดย เดฟ ฟรังโก) เพื่อทำภารกิจที่ได้รับจากเกม NERVE ร่วมกัน จากเกมวัดใจที่เล่นเพื่อความสนุกสนานและเพื่อความป๊อปปูลาร์ในกลุ่มผู้ชม มันกลับพา วี และ เอียน ถลำลึกสู่เกมเสี่ยงตายที่จะทำให้ชีวิตของพวกเขาไม่มีวันกลับไปเป็นเหมือนเดิมอีกต่อไป

ซูเปอร์แมนกลับมาอีกครั้ง และศัตรูครั้งนี้คือ เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์อัจฉริยะที่สร้างขึ้นโดยกัส กอร์แมน (Richard Pryor) มันต้องการจะครองโลกทั้งใบ เขาก็ต้องหยุดมันล่ะครับหนังภาคนี้การ์ตูนไปแบบสุดๆ การเดินเรื่องก็เรื่อยๆ แต่หนังไม่โดดเด่นเท่า 2 ภาคแรกอีกแล้วครับ ถ้าไม่ได้ฝีมือการแสดงเยี่ยมๆของ Christopher Reeve ช่วยไว้ล่ะก็หนังคงเละไปกว่านี้แน่ๆ แม้ Effect จะดีก็ตาม ภาคนี้ Richard Lester กำกับเองแบบเต็มๆ แล้วครับ แต่ผลออกมากลับไม่ค่อยก็เท่าไหร่เลย แม้เนื้อเรื่องจะมีอะไรมากก็ตาม แต่การนำเสนอกลับไม่ราบรื่นอย่างที่ควรจะเป็น ลูกเล่นน้อยครับ ค่อนข้างห่างชั้นกับ 2 ภาคแรกอยู่หลายช่วงตัวทีเดียวความสำคัญอีกอย่างของภาคนี้คือ หนังได้เปิดตัว ลาน่า แลงก์ (Annette O'Toole) หวานใจวัยเรียนของคลาร์ค เคนท์ ซึ่งกำลังประสบปัญหาครอบครัวอย่างหนัก เลยหลายมาเป็นอีกปมหนึ่งในภาคนี้หนังยังพอดูได้ครับ โอเคน่ะ แต่ห้ามคาดหวังอะไรเด็ดขาด แล้วคุณจะคิดว่าหนังพอดูได้ สองดาวกว่าๆครับ
