London Has Fallen เป็นภาคต่อของภาพยนตร์เรื่อง Olympus Has Fallen ซึ่งเรื่องราวเริ่มต้นขึ้นในเมืองลอนดอน เมื่อนายกรัฐมนตรีอังกฤษเสียชีวิตอย่างมีปริศนา ผู้นำแห่งโลกตะวันตกต่างพากันเดินทางมาร่วมพิธีศพของเขา แต่หารู้ไม่ว่างานที่มีการรักษาความปลอดภัยเข้มงวดขนาดนี้กลับกลายเป็นเป้าหมายของผู้ก่อการร้ายที่ต้องการจะสังหารเหล่าผู้นำที่มีอิทธิพลระดับโลกและทำลายสถานที่สำคัญต่าง ๆ ให้พังพินาศ มีเพียง 3 คนเท่านั้นที่จะสามารถหยุดยั้งแผนการครั้งนี้ได้ก็คือประธานาธิบดีสหรัฐอเมริกา (แอรอน เอ็คฮาร์ท) หัวหน้าหน่วยสืบราชการลับ (เจอราร์ด บัตเลอร์) และสายลับ MI-6 จากอังกฤษที่ไม่เคยเชื่อใจใครง่าย ๆ (ชาร์ลอตต์ ไรลีย์) ด้านมอร์แกน ฟรีแมน ก็จะมารับบทเป็นรองประธานาธิบดีสหรัฐอเมริกาด้วย
