เนื่องจากร่างกายผิดปกติมาแต่เกิด ชีวิตของควอสิโมโดจึงต้องพบแต่การถูกปฏิเสธและผจญอยู่กับความเหงา ร่วมผจญภัยไปกับควอสิโมโดและนักเต้นรำสาวสวยชาวยิปซีที่จะพาเขาไปค้นพบโลกที่กว้างใหญ่นอกเหนือไปจากหอระฆังที่เขาต้องดูแล
