Adaptation of Miguel Torga's iconic short stories. An intimate look at a rural community in the 1940s. Each chapter has its own protagonist, whose existence is untouched by modernity or the outside world. Five portraits of humble lives with enormous resistance to suffering - and a capacity for violence that, at times, proves impossible to repress.

A love as large as the world itself... Pedro has just returned to the city where he was born and spent most of his life, but mysteriously disappeared without a trace for 20 years. The reasons for his disappearance have always been cause for speculation, as he was something of a celebrity in the city. Despite always denying any direct responsibility, he was known for performing miracles on people's lives by having them look at themselves from a different perspective. In fact, Pedro has the gift of being able to foresee the future. But his visions can be, at the same time, a blessing and a trap. When he was young, he saw his girlfriend Carmen dressed as a bride laying in a coffin and wearing an engagement ring that he assumed was his. It was as if fate was warning him... Pedro ends up getting involved with Manuela and have a daughter with her named Sofia. Still, he goes through a rough period and receives a serious death threat that makes him leave everything behind.

In Vale da Figueira, the Ventura prepare themselves for the first time to spend Christmas without the company of their children and grandchildren. But these plans change a few days before Christmas, when Francisco is taken to the hospital for emergency. This unexpected event will bring everyone inside the same house. Together, they renew their family spirit by accepting the changes that these days of coexistence have brought.

Showing life as it is... Alice is a surgeon who is forced to work with her ex-husband David, an anaesthesiologist who will incorporate the Surgical Team at the Santa Catarina Hospital in Lisbon. Vicente also works at this hospital in internal medicine. He’s married to Simone, who’s a vet at the Zoo. This couple will go through a messy divorce in which Vicente is in danger of losing custody of his children due to his affair with his colleague Alice. This series that follows the everyday lives of doctors fighting to save people's lives at a city hospital, but also the challenges and adventures of a team of veterinarians, biologists and zoo keepers who are committed to preserving their wildlife at the Zoo.

The border between the North of Portugal and Galicia is the biggest drug entry point in Europe. History not only reflects the reality of clans but also engages in social implications.

The series develops around cases of homicides that occurred during the summer, at the time of the economic and social crisis that affected Portugal.

A story developed in two different narratives which are interlinked. On the first one, the two friends Bruno Nogueira and Gonçalo Waddington (playing themselves) set out on a caravan trip through Portugal with the desire to escape from their daily lives and find a solution for their personal struggles. On the second one, there's the fictionalized making-off of the miniseries itself.

15 dressmakers compete for 13 weeks in order to find the best dressmaker in Portugal. For this, they will be evaluated by Paulo Battista and Susana Agostinho. Presented by Sónia Araújo.
