Danton and Robespierre were close friends and fought together in the French Revolution, but by 1793 Robespierre was France's ruler, determined to wipe out opposition with a series of mass executions that became known as the Reign of Terror. Danton, well known as a spokesman of the people, had been living in relative solitude in the French countryside, but he returned to Paris to challenge Robespierre's violent rule and call for the people to demand their rights. It was broadcast once on YTV's Big BBQ Blowout on July 1, 2006, as a "sneak peek". Another Erky Perky "sneak peek" episode was shown on August 30, 2006 during YTV's "Sneek Peek Week", before airing regularly on September 7. InSecurity is a Canadian action comedy television series. The series focuses on a team of spycatchers set at the fictional Canadian National Intelligence and Security Agency. The series is set in Ottawa but filmed primarily in Regina. The initial season of 13 episodes premiered January 4, 2011. It was followed by a second season of 10 episodes before cancellation by CBC on April 19, 2012 due to budget cuts from the 2012 Canadian federal budget. One of the producers called it "the 24 of Canada"; one writer described it as "24 without Jack Bauer; CSI minus the science; and James Bond - if James Bond were Mr. Bean." The initial pilot focused on the tedium involved in electronic eavesdropping but the decision was made that it would be too "niche". A second pilot was done with a more 24 approach.

jPod is a comedic television series based on Douglas Coupland’s novel of the same name. It premiered on CBC Television on January 8, 2008. Starting with the fifth episode, the show began airing Fridays at 9:00. On April 4, 2008, it was announced that the CBC had cancelled the show because of low ratings. However, all but one of the remaining episodes aired. The cancellation of jPod sparked a fan-led protest. The show's opening title theme is Flutter by Bonobo. Produced by I’m Feeling Lucky Productions for the CBC, jPod was created by Douglas Coupland and Michael MacLennan. Coupland also co-wrote many of season one’s episodes.

"Team Galaxy" is about a group of friends who try to balance both their school work and their free time. The show itself was created by Craig Miller and Marv Wolfman, who produced and story edited the series. Together or separately, they wrote over 40% of the total number of episodes. Pocket Dragon Adventures was also the very first animated series signed to a labor contract with the Writers Guild of America.
