In My Father's Hands

When the estate of the late countess, minister, and millionaire Erna Hamilton is to be sold at auction in March this year, a 41-year-old Swede shows up in Copenhagen. He claims to be the countess's grandson and legal heir.

A substitute teacher at a small school in western Jutland must take over the parish clerk's job as director of the annual amateur theater production in the village hall. He plans to stage Kaj Munk's play "The Word." The task is not easy and is complicated by the fact that he falls in love with one of the actors.

The story is about a kind and friendly witch who invites a surprising collection of animals to join her on her journey.

Scenes from life on another planet, where a hedonistic civilisation of young women decorate themselves with artificial nails, white clothes and a fake tan before taking the limo to the city.
