When Russia annexed Crimea in 2014, it became clear to anyone that the aggressor was conducting a hybrid war against Ukraine. The only surprise is that many people were surprised when Russia deployed this military strategy, because it has a long history of doing so.

In the hands of a young filmmaker, a Handycam primarily used for homemade family movies transforms into a tool for self-reflection. Since the end of the civil war in the early 1990s, the region of Abkhazia has been acting independently of Georgia. This has turned a massive dam into a border. But the hydroelectric power station also connects the two political entities: Because over a distance of fifteen kilometres the water flows freely, underground, from one side to the other. When a young journalist gets stranded here, stories of division emerge.
Postoto-the epitaph of Oto Katamadze from Batumi, who made his school friends listen to 30 years of out-of-fashion Led Zeppelin, put together a band that a few years later turned out to be one of the brightest and most influential blues bands in Georgia — and died in a car accident. Assembled from the monologues of close friends and colleagues of the musician, the film evokes an almost physical sense of loss, lack: in the place of the main character in this story, an uncomfortable, not yet prolonged void yawns. The snow-covered Black Sea coast in the finale is not the most obvious (and yet readable) visual image of rock and roll: from the winter Yalta in "Ass" and the final scene of "Needle" to the classic cover of "Russian Field of Experiments", white snow in the post-Soviet latitudes has always been considered a suitable background for the slogan Live fast, die young.

he story describes the events of the civil war in 1992 in Tbilisi. Death is seen as something obvious, normal and an everyday occurrence. The way these people behave, only underlines the great absurdity and tragedy of war.
