Tomorrow We Will See offers a window into how ten artists in Lebanon are using art as a tool to question sectarian divisions while encouraging freedom of thought. Against the backdrop of Lebanon’s scars from wars, and socio-political scars created from sectarian divisions, Lebanese artists continue to contribute to the creative community despite the uncertainties of what tomorrow may bring.

Produced in Deir al-Balah. A journalist leaves his reporting station just minutes before his live broadcast, to go to the restroom. In the long queue of impatient people, the war is discussed by those waiting in line. Some praise the photographer, while others criticize him for not covering a particular incident or for not being at a certain location during a specific event. The photographer’s tense state and need to use the restroom continue to rise until he reluctantly returns to the live broadcast to cover an ongoing massacre. The story is humorous and painful, capturing the often-overlooked, quotidian struggles of refugees surviving amidst a genocide.

There are few things that do not get lost, no matter how old we are. In the memory of adults there is a childhood and in the beginning of the forest there is a tree and in the history of the walls an old inscription. The women of Asir region, southern Saudi Arabia, created the art of Qatt through abstract engraving and drawing on walls and different objects with bright colours.
