Once home from his evening stroll, for the first time in her life, Julia reaches out and asks about his past in Lebanon and finally learns of the fate of her grandmother.

The film follows Omar's younger brother, his sister and his mother who live in a Palestinian refugee camp near Bethlehem, West Bank. While Omar’s sister Rama holds onto old memories and pictures, his brother Mohammad rarely talks about Omar’s death. But one evening, above the roofs of the camp, he shares his deepest thoughts about the future with his best friend. Omar's death has left deep marks on the siblings and their own will to live. While they struggle to move on with their lives, Omar’s mother is torn between pride and grief. She believes in the meaning of his death as a martyr.
