A story about a former spy, a honest criminal, a kung-fu fighter, a poet and a locar hero in Tolmin (Western Slovenia, close to Italian border).
A wonderful example of a TV documentary that transcends the limitations of the TV screen. “Slices of Time” tells the story of two women born during the First World War who saw the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy collapse and a new state form: Yugoslavia. The two grandmothers of the author Zemira Alajbegović Pečovnik lived in different cultural and religious spheres – one in predominantly Muslim Bosnia, the other in Christian-influenced Slovenia – and yet were connected through their children and grandchildren. Global and personal history, childhood, love and wars intertwine.
Boštjan Gorenc Pižama, Perica Jerković and Gašper Bergant in an amusing show bring an exclusive insight into the stand-up scene. Sex in the car, unusual tattoos, child rearing and reality show will be just some of the topics that will be touched by the bearded flowers of Slovenian freestyle comedy. The most comic comedy offers a half-hour of laughter in a staggered male company with no hair (only) on the tongue.
A metaphor on fictitous catastrophe.

Short film by Janez Lapajne.
This film was conceived back in the eighties, just like the Slovenian band Lačni Franc's song. After numerous changes, it was completed in 1992. At the second edition of the Croatian Film Days, it won the award for Best Animated Film. Dražen Žarković, Josip Zanki, Miroslav Zubović, Magda Dulčić, Ninoslav Kunc collaborated on the film.
The narrative film is about a central character looking for the source of his problems. He feels a terrible need for the culprit, for all the bad things in his life, because he himself is certainly not responsible for it. In search of an opponent, he delves into his family, society, and world leadership. When he does not find a good reason for his troubles in all this, he delves into nature and God. He finds no reason for his anger, the hypocriticalness of the central character escalates. In the end, we find that the source of all the bad is his own inner voice. The highlight of the film is a confrontation with oneself.
An amateur film shot in only 8 days. We follow teenagers who are on their way to becoming adults, even though they are supposed to be adults already. We follow the poetic and sarcastic Selektor, who is followed by his high school friend, who randomly runs into an old acquaintance – Dahi – and Sonja, an intelligent girl in her twenties who lives both in the working world and in the company of those who are supposed to be a kind of elite. A smaller part of the story is also devoted to other characters, about whom we learn as much as we are meant to. We meet James and Maxim, an Englishman who writes tourist stories about Slovenia and a French physicist, whom chance has brought together among the guests of the bar, so that through them we also learn more about the others and vice versa.
"Instead of Whom a Flower Now Blooms", "That Black Guitar", "Dizzy Heights" and other songs by the singer, poet and author Vlado Kreslin have already become folk tunes. Vlado is an eminent performer of popular music with a cult status, which is not a result of self-promotion strategies, but rather a consequence of his exceptional personal charisma and suggestive music expression. The documentary takes a look at the key stages of how Vlado Kreslin developed his authentic artistic expression. At the same time it frames the wider cultural context that Vlado has been creating in for more than forty years. However, this is first and foremost a film about music and music lovers.

Inserts from neo-avant-garde films by Emir Kusturica, Zivojin Pavlovic and Zelimir Zilnik made in the so-called Yugoslav film period of the 1970s and 1980s are re-read, re-worked, re-coded in a video story contemplating the role of different media in the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the time of world internet communications, cyborg stories and world spread computer nets. If it is true that we all part of a giant hypertext, coded by adapted and shortened CD-ROM histories, then why not try to display the video picture as hypertext, as the one which will show the hidden spots of our history and present?
Newsreel 62 reflects on the participation of two Syrian artists in a 1966 Yugoslavian art show celebrating the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, showcasing the relative ease with which objects (as opposed to people) can pass across borders.
Humankind has always be curious about the innate rhythms which can be created with human bodies. Impulse explores the microcosm of rhythms that exist within folk dance.
The film is a homage to beauty; beauty in a visual and aesthetic sense, but primarily spiritual beauty, the beauty that normally thrives best in concert with love if we let it breathe, that is; if we are prepared to accept it and share in it. The film is playful, it does not build on the bizarre, but on aesthetics, ethics and spirituality. She and He are in T(herapy), in their individual sessions the more introverted She and the extroverted He talk about and gradually uncover a particularly strong experience that in a way represents a turning in their emotional setback. We gradually realize that they do not have a problem accepting what has happened. She would just like to know where it happened, and He would like to see it all again.
