Sunday Night, later named Michelob Presents Night Music, is a late-night television show which aired for two seasons between 1988 and 1990 as a showcase for jazz and eclectic musical artists. It was hosted by Jools Holland and David Sanborn, and featured Marcus Miller as musical director. Guests included acts such as Sonny Rollins, Shinehead, Sister Carol, Sonic Youth, Joe Sample, Slim Gaillard, Elliott Sharp, Pere Ubu, Pharoah Sanders, and many others. In addition, vintage clips of jazz legends like Thelonious Monk, Dave Brubeck, and Billie Holiday were also featured. The show also featured a house band of Omar Hakim, Marcus Miller, Philippe Saisse, David Sanborn, Hiram Bullock, and Jools Holland. The show often allowed its guests ample time to explain the origins of their sound, meaning of songs, etc. It also provided a national audience for lesser known acts. Hal Willner was the music coordinator, responsible for the interesting musical mix-and-matching that took place on the show.

The Chopping Block is an American reality television series, based on the Australian reality television series of the same name. The series aired on the NBC network and followed participants in an attempt to open a restaurant. It is hosted by British celebrity chef Marco Pierre White. The first episode premiered on March 11, 2009 to low ratings. Two more episodes aired, each with worse ratings than the last. On March 26, 2009, NBC canceled the series, choosing to run repeats of Law & Order: Criminal Intent in the timeslot. The series completing "airing" on NBC.com and Hulu, releasing one a week. On April 24, 2009, NBC announced the series would return to television in Friday, June 19, despite airing on the internet already. After the fourth episode aired on the 19th, it was pre-empted on June 26 by television coverage surrounding the deaths of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson the day before. The show returned Friday, July 3. It then proceeded to air until Friday, July 24, the day the final episode aired on NBC. On April 27, 2009, British TV began showing the series on ITV2, immediately following the finale of Hell's Kitchen, also hosted by Marco Pierre White, on ITV1 of which 6 of the episodes being aired, although episode 7 was not shown on Monday at 8 o clock as would be expected, and there has been no explanation as to what has happened to the series in the UK or why the episode was not shown.

The Million Second Quiz is an American television game show produced by All3Media America. It commenced broadcasting on NBC on September 9, 2013. The show follows a group of contestants who compete for up to $2 million in a quiz competition across 1,000,000 seconds. NBC aired one-hour segments each day, while the rest of the show was viewable from within the Million Second Quiz app and on NBC.com. It is executive produced by Stephen Lambert, Eli Holzman and David Hurwitz. Ryan Seacrest hosted the first season. The winner of the first season, Andrew Kravis, totaled $2.6 million which is the highest grand prize in game show history.

Meet My Folks is a comedy reality television series which aired on NBC from 2002–2003 and aired in re-runs on MyNetworkTV from 2007-2008. Local versions of the show have aired in other countries since 2000. The series was apparently inspired by, but has no direct connection to, the 2000 comedy film Meet the Parents, wherein a man must seek the approval of his girlfriend's demanding parents before proposing. One of the film's best-known elements, a lie detector test, also figures prominently in the series. The film's producers, Universal Studios, had at one point considered legal action over the program, specifically the title and the lie detector segment, but this did not come to fruition.

The Price Is Right is an American game show hosted by Bill Cullen that premiered on NBC on November 26, 1956.

The Gisele MacKenzie Show in an American variety show hosted by Gisele MacKenzie. The series aired live on NBC from September 28, 1957, to March 29, 1958. The Curfew Kids appeared on the program as semi-regulars. MacKenzie had been a regular on the earlier NBC musical series Your Hit Parade from 1953 to 1957. She had also worked in radio with Bob Crosby and had toured with Jack Benny and guest starred on The Jack Benny Program. Benny in fact had recommended her to the producers of Your Hit Parade.

Eye Guess is an American game show created by Bob Stewart and hosted by Bill Cullen, which aired on NBC from January 3, 1966 to September 26, 1969. In the game, two contestants attempted to answer questions by remembering the answers' location hidden on a gameboard. The winning contestant then played a bonus game for various prizes, including a new car. This was the first game show by Bob Stewart Productions. Stewart, a former producer for Goodson-Todman Productions, created this series and packaged it with Filmways. Don Pardo announced for the first year, after which Jack Clark replaced him for the rest of the run. The show used the Al Hirt tune "Sugar Lips" as its theme song.

Scattergories is an American game show on NBC daytime hosted by Dick Clark, with Charlie Tuna as announcer, that aired from January 18 to June 11, 1993. The show was produced by Reg Grundy Productions, now a part of FremantleMedia, and was the second to last American game show to be produced by the company.

Ready for Love was an American reality matchmaking competition television series on NBC. The series was scheduled to air Tuesdays from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm Eastern and Pacific time, and premiered in that slot on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. The series was hosted by Giuliana and Bill Rancic. The show featured three bachelors and includes three matchmakers and a field of 36 bachelorettes. On April 19, 2013, after two low-rated episodes, NBC pulled the Eva Longoria produced Ready for Love from its schedule. The last episode to air on NBC was the April 23 segment. The remaining six episodes were placed online on Tuesdays via the network's website, Hulu, the network's cable video on demand service, and iTunes and Amazon Video for purchase, until the June 4 finale.

Colgate Theatre is a 30-minute dramatic television anthology series telecast on NBC during 1949 and 1958 for a total of 50 episodes. The first edition, a live anthology, was telecast on Sunday nights at 8:30pm through the summer of 1950. The second series [Tuesdays, 9:30pm] consisted of filmed pilot episodes of unsold series, and was a last-minute replacement for the game series Dotto, which was ended during August 1958, due to accusations that it was rigged. 1, 2, 3 Go is an American filmed children's television series hosted by Jack Lescoulie with Richard Thomas. The 30-minute educational series was telecast on NBC in 1961-62. Each episode had a theme and was narrated by Thomas. The show established that adult and child were on an equal footing, sometimes with the child in a superior position.

1986 is an American news magazine series that aired on NBC from June 10, 1986 to December 30, 1986. The lead anchors were Roger Mudd and Connie Chung. Maria Shriver also contributed to the program. The show was NBC's 14th attempt in 17 years to launch a prime time news program in a similar fashion that CBS and ABC has successfully done.
