In 1982, Israel embarked on a military campaign in Lebanon. Operation: Peace in the Galilee. The short campaign got out of hand and turned into a drawn out war - this movie tells the story, through the eyes of the fighters. Soldiers' letters, journals and conversations accompany combat scenes, life in the field, the Palestinian enemy in its fight against Israel, politicians and Israeli leaders'.
