Lost in Austen is a four-part 2008 British miniseries written by Guy Andrews, that reimagines Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, where a contemporary London woman, Amanda Price, swaps places with Elizabeth Bennet, finding herself in the novel's 19th-century society and disrupting the classic story. In order to get back to her own time, Amanda must set the plot right.

The Ghosts of Motley Hall is a British children's television series written by Richard Carpenter and produced and directed by Quentin Lawrence for Granada Television, and broadcast between 1976 and 1978 on ITV. Five ghosts occupy the titular Motley Hall. Each hails from a different era and all—with the exception of newly deceased Matt—are unable to leave the confines of the building.

Vice Versa is a seven-part series produced by ATV and based on a story published in 1882 by F. Anstey, the pseudonym of Thomas Anstey Guthrie. In contemporary Victorian London, a father and son switch places by means of a magic talisman from India, thus live each other's lives, and gain a better understanding for each other before they switch back.
