Based on war-themed diary of Fadil Hoxha, the film tells the story of one particular phase of partisan revolution in Kosovo during WWII.

Three local gangsters get an offer for a job they know nothing about. However, high paychecks and their prides make them accept the offer. On their way they encounter many problems while understanding that they are being trapped.

"Sons of Cain" is set in a small village in northern Albania. In this place time is suspended and the severe rules of an old code (Kanun) still dictate the life and death of the inhabitants. A group of seven children obliged to live under this code meet and discuss the story of Cain and Abel. Creating their own dream space, partially consciously and partially not, they create an analogy between their own stories and Bible stories. Stuck on the fine line between reality and forgetfulness, this is one of the few chances they have to come to grips with their traumas and emotions.

During this terrible time, Fadili, who works as an archivist, has to choose between two options, knowing that both of them are wrong. He therefore involuntarily and unwillingly "swallows" the shame, endures the pressure bearing down from all sides and puts up with the bad reputation for only one reason: to provide for his family.

Vlash Zaka is a poor villager who secures his living by capturing wild horses in the forest. His brother has killed an Italian spy, so Vlash is under surveillance and his life is in danger.

Beni is an eight-year-old boy living in Korçë with his parents and leads a sheltered life. His mother is very protective and doesn't let him play outside. When Beni is able to go outside, the neighborhood children make fun of him. One day when his uncle Thomai is visiting, he sees Beni crying after the other children took his horse. Thomai decides to take Beni on horseback to a distant village where he teaches him about life and how to be a man.

The film director, Bujar, is making a movie about the life and activity of Enver Hoxha. During the film, many retrospectives from the war times till the end of his life are given.

The events of film take place in the first days of May 1942 when Albania was under fascist occupation.The enemy is trying by all means to discover the leadership of the Communist Party of Albania wipe it out along with the people's National Liberation Movement. In this grave situation,the communists are faced with counter attack. The film reflects the stormy days of war, the ferocity of the enemy and the strength of the Party and the people who remain undaunted by terror and violence.

The year is 1943. At his last breath, partisan Gani asks his friends to make sure that his daughter Sherka is married on the date set in advance for her wedding. Once the wedding ceremony starts, they find out that the bridegroom is a collaborator of the invaders. Sherka decides to cancel her wedding and joins her father s friends in their struggle for the liberation of the country.

After a thirty year absence, Sana, now in her fifties, is surprised by the sudden return of her long lost love, Gori. Even though she has been waiting for this moment her entire life, she can scarcely believe her eyes.

The film unfolds the reality in a communist country in the 1970s through the eyes and wise ways of an ordinary gypsy. The events take place in a small town in Albania. Besides the well-organized civilized life, a strange Gypsy community is settled in the town. The calm flow of their life is troubled by the birth of a child. The son, who is the ninth child in this Gypsy family, will bring joy not only to his family, but to the entire gypsy community. What could possibly trouble the strong communist establishment of the time? A child is born but not an ordinary one. His name is Mao Tse Tung. A gypsy Mao Tse Tung in the 1970s.

The story of a couple married for 10 years who decide to end their relationship without understanding the implications of this separation for their families. The decision to separate will make them know the limits of each other and their loved ones in situations full of humor and love. Because when love is still there, nothing is impossible.

An unbaptized woman is killed because of the regressive mentality existing in the mountains of northern Albania.

First days after the liberation... Agron and Nora, two young partisans are charged with important tasks in a coastal town. They are soon getting married but Nora suffers from glaucoma. The doctor who cures her, Epaminonda, does not help her to overcome the illness because Nora is the representative of the people s power.

Mazi and Dushi are two youngsters who come from families that are in a blood feud with each other. One family lives in the mountains and the other one in the city.
