Phim nói về chuyến phiêu lưu của Mowgli – một cậu bé mồ côi được đàn chó sói nuôi dưỡng trong rừng già Ấn Độ. Ngày qua ngày, Mowgli cảm thấy mình không còn được chào đón ở mái nhà tự nhiên này nữa, bởi một con hổ hung dữ tên Shere Khan tuyên bố sẽ tiêu diệt những sinh vật có khả năng gây nên hiểm họa, sau khi hắn bị loài người tấn công. Buộc phải rời khỏi chốn dung thân duy nhất, Mogwli dấn bước vào một hành trình khám phá, với sự dẫn dắt của báo đen Bagheera và gấu Baloo. Trên đường đi, Mowgli đã gặp những sinh vật xấu xa: một con trăn tên Kaa có ánh mắt thôimiên, con khỉ đột King Louie với khả năng nói tiếng người lưu loát. Chúng cố ép buộc Mowgli hé lộ công thức tạo ra “bông hoa đỏ” lập lòe, được gọi là Lửa.

Câu chuyện bắt đầu từ thanh bảo kiếm Lục Mệnh đã có hơn 400 năm tung hoành giang hồ, mà chủ nhân gần đây của nó là Lý Mộ Bạch (Châu Nhuận Phát) – một cao thủ phái Võ Đang có thể xem là thiên hạ vô địch hiện nay. Dự định rút lui giang hồ, Lý Mộ Bạch đã trao tặng Lục Mệnh kiếm cho Tề lão gia ở kinh thành, tuy nhiên thanh kiếm đã bị một kẻ võ công cao siêu đánh cắp. Có mặt ở hiện trường lúc đó, và đã từng giao đấu với kẻ trộm là nữ hiệp Du Tú Liên (Dương Tử Quỳnh) – chủ nhân của Thái Dương Tiêu Cục. Tên trộm nhờ đồng bọn trợ giúp, Du Tú Liên đã không thể bắt được hắn. Đối tượng mà Du Tú Liên nghi ngờ nhất là tiểu thư của tuần phủ đại nhân – Ngọc Kiều Long.

Productions previous series about cat based heroes Iron Man Tiger 7 is set in modern Japan. Takigawa Go gets the power to transform into Tetsujin Tiger Seven from an artificial heart and a magic pendent. To transform he utters the henshin phrase "Tiger Spark". Takigawa Go is played by Tatsuya Nanjô who also starred in Toei's Henshin Ninja Arashi. Go rides a Suzuki motorcycle with rocket boosters. When he transforms into Tiger Seven the motorcycle transforms as well to become "Spike Go". Spike Go can drive itself, coming to its master's aid when Tiger 7 roars. Tetsujin Tiger 7 was apparently P. Production's attempt at a Kamen Rider style series. They even hired Shunsuke Kikuchi composer of the 1970s Kamen Rider music to write the music for Tetsujin Tiger 7.
