Party-hearty college boys Bobby and Jimmy tone it down for Jimmy's dad when visiting, but when Jimmy's sister declares what she wants is a real cave man, Bobby jumps at the chance.

Jimmy makes a chaotic entrance into a café falling through a coal chute, stumbling into a den of chorus girls. Meanwhile, a Salvation Army lass is attempting to rescue a young girl who has fallen into the hands of an unscrupulous scoundrel. Jimmy becomes involved in the chaos, battling the scoundrel and the café proprietor's men to protect the girl. In a climactic twist, the girl turns out to be the estranged sister of the villainous proprietor. The film ends with a happy reunion, the villainous proprietor turning good, and Jimmy thanked for his heroism.

They fall in love, but while attempting to rescue Mary, Pierre is trapped and rendered unconscious in another rock slide. Saved by Jim Boone's band of outlaws, Pierre joins the gang, and Boone's daughter Jackie falls in love with him, but, Pierre still loves Mary, from whom he has been separated.

On his return to town, Lang rescues the sheriff's daughter, Alice Thornton, from Hemp's gang and defeats their leader, L. W. Bransom, in a fistfight. He then clears himself of the murder charge and wins Alice.
