A slapstick comedy starring Cliff Bowes & Virginia Vance.

A newly married couple go to spend their honeymoon far out in the country with demented relatives who laugh off even the worst disasters. The couple are forced to sleep apart,The beds are rock hard, the food is inedible,and the farmhouse leaks in the middle of a fierce rainstorm. On top of everything else, a hick uncle with a large family pay a sudden visit.

After being wrongly dismissed from the New York City police department, police officer Larry 'O'Day (William Fairbanks) reveals an internationally-known detective John Granger (Lee Shumway) to be a cheap crook. He is promoted and reinstated and marries his ever-faithful sweetheart Nelly Egan (Virginia Lee Corbin.)

They have taken the action out of about three oft-repeated comedy tales and crowded it into these two reels. Miss Wiley is certainly a lively young lady and a glutton for punishment. She takes many a hard fall and an equal number of rough knocks. She is also capable of better material than she is given to exploit in this one.
