Slim Cole, a notorious outlaw, shoots at mining executive Jim King, missing him but wounding Flora Dale in the shoulder. Jim takes care of the injured girl, who, when she recovers, goes to work in his office. Unknown to Jim, Flora is the daughter of an outlaw whom Cole had killed and has secretly vowed revenge against Jim.
A SPEEDY MARRIAGE (Universal-Century - Two Reels) This is a typical Wanda Wiley vehicle with a world of action, none of which, however, has not been seen many times before. They have taken the action out of about three oft-repeated comedy tales and crowded it into these two reels. Miss Wiley is certainly a lively young lady and a glutton for punishment. She takes many a hard fall and an equal number of rough knocks. She is also capable of better material than she is given to exploit in this one.
Typhus specialist Dr. David West has fought long and hard for the construction of the new municipal waterworks. Harrison Blake, the town's leading lawyer and banker, conspires to have the waterworks put into private hands and frames David for accepting a bribe. As none of the town's lawyers will take the case, Katherine, David's daughter and a recent law school graduate, accepts her first client in her father. However, the circumstantial evidence is too great and David is convicted. Harrison bribes a worker to sabotage the waterworks, causing a public clamor for their takeover by private interests. Katherine, with the aid of newspaper editor Arnold Bruce, uncovers the conspiracy after the outbreak of a typhus epidemic. David is freed, and Katherine weds Arnold.

She then gets a job as a dressmaker and is later called to the Van Dyke home to do some work for Bob's sister, and Jenny discovers that, faced with financial ruin in the stock market, Bob is about to steal $20,000 from his housekeeper. To forestall him, Jenny arranges for her old confederates to steal the money first, taking the blame for the crime herself. Inspired by Jenny's example, Bob accepts his bankruptcy with grace, becomes a golf pro, and marries Jenny, who, in the meantime, has returned the money and settled her score with the law. A lost film

He wants to work, but is usually too tired and is continuously coughing. He ignores the advice of his doctor to go to a health centre. His little daughter, Annetje, is not well either. At school she is listless, never wanting to play with her classmates. A visiting school doctor examines the girl and gives her a note for her parents, advising them to consult their doctor. Father considers this as nonsense.

Mary returns home and finds Bill there. He has become a true believer and a member of the church during his travels, and he and Mary are happily reunited.
