How about taking a trip through Disneyland? This video takes us on a tour of Disneyland as it looked in 1982. We get to see all the classic attractions shops and restaurants. Not to mention all of the characters!

A short about those December holidays.

This film is the second installment (of five) of Igor Shadkhan and Svetlana Voloshina’s project Test for Adults (the first 16-year television observation of children and their parents in the USSR, 1978-1994). There are six television short stories, each dedicated to one of the children who are 10 years old at the time of shooting: Artyom, Julia, Pavel, Alyosha, Sveta, and Alexey. The authors are interested in the psychological portrait of children. The intimate nature of the interview and the delicacy of the interviewer allows them to touch upon difficult topics – loneliness in the hospital, the child’s experiences of parental divorce, the existential fears of children, leadership, attitudes, etc.

"...We came to the conclusion that the event recorded on the film does not have to be logically interpreted or named, because its meaning or even nonsense is justified by the fact that this phenomenon took place in a state of war."

In Éliclipse, postcard images of Parisian landmarks are cut into vertical bands; every other stripe of the image is replaced with a corresponding stripe from another postcard image, resulting in the blend of the figuration of the two images

In long takes with few cuts, women talk about their lives. All the conversations are shot in interior rooms, attesting to trust and great candour. They talk about work, relationships, what’s left of the day, and families – which is naturally political. Chetna Vora began studying directing at the HFF Babelsberg in 1976. Frauen in Berlin would have been her first feature film; however, the HFF broke off production before it was finished, and the negative material was largely destroyed. What remains is a rough version that was secretly filmed on video beforehand, an invaluable and candid document, especially in this form.
