After a disagreement with his teacher, a young boy runs away.

A young man named Ylber finds himself on the run after a tragic accident, stumbling into a remote Albanian village in search of refuge. Seeking shelter, he is welcomed by Demush, a quiet, stoic villager steeped in the ancient code of the Kanun—a strict honour tradition of hospitality and demanding blood for blood. Though Ylber is treated as a guest, tension simmers beneath Demush’s hospitality as he begins to suspect there’s more to his visitor than Ylber lets on.

Math teacher Nora is transferred to work in the gymnasium of a coastal city. Edi, a pupil, openly wants an unmerited good mark in maths. Edi is the son of a director of the executive committee. Nora is worried and cannot agree with Edi and his parents.

Dino Bregu, head of a state farm, learns that Ilir, his successor, is having a relationship with his daughter, and must cope with this situation.

World War II. Italian fascists have interned in the South a lot of people who fought them on the 7th of April 1939 when they came to Albania. Among them, there's an old man whom they call "Daja" (uncle), who fought along with the youth.

Deputy director Koli wishes to replace the pensioned director, but is preoccupied that Vjollca, the chairwoman of the planning branch, will get the promotion instead.

Albania and neighboring Yugoslavia officially broke ties in 1948. But in 1971, the Hoxha regime was honored to welcome the ethnic Albanian actor Bekim Fehmiu (1936-2010), at the time an international star in Yugoslav theater and film. Before his trip to Albania, Fehmiu had appeared in the popular Italian television smash The Odyssey (1968) and the Cannes-winning I Even Met Happy Gypsies (1967). Dokufest will also feature a photo exhibit of recently-discovered still images taken during Bekim Fehmiu’s Albanian visit.

Silvi's husband dies in an accident. For a period of time, she loses interest in life. However, life goes on, and Silvi recovers. She falls in love with Ardi, but discovers that he is an accomplice in a theft of state property. She is the only witness, so Ardi asks her to stay silent, which leads to Silvi falling into a moral dilemma.

It is the Fall of 1944. Events take place in the newly liberated Berat. A group of partisans are charged with the task of normalizing the life in the liberated city during this first night of freedom.

World War II - a famous warrior and a villager face the destruction of their village and heroically lead the people in a rebellion.

The calm and ordinary life of a forgotten village is disturbed with the arrival of three prostitutes in the village’s bar, owned by two pimp brothers. The men, despite the efforts of their wives to stop them, spend all their time in the village’s bar, spending their last money on alcohol and sex. Chaos overcomes the village school; its devotees abandon the mosque. Only two youngsters benefit from all this mayhem, by realizing their love affair, forbidden by their parents. At the end, the women start upraising. Consequently, the bar is burnt down and the village looks that it will return to normality.

The protagonist of the film, Robert Berisha (I.Rexhepi), an Albanian-American, a well-known businessman from America, returns to live and invest in Kosovo. When Robert and his company start building a textile factory, everything will change in his life. A gang favored by Beka (E.Petrovci) will suddenly kidnap his daughter and demand a million euros for her head. After the intervention of the police, the arrest of the perpetrators of this crime is achieved and then the successful completion of investments in Kosovo can be continued.

In 80s Albania, the head of a village is very near retirement. He has many accomplishments but feels somewhat spiritually "bureaucratized" so wants his successor to be similar to him in character and principles. But in the assembly gathering another proposal is put forth, foiling the village head's plans entirely.

Separated as children, twin sisters Hana and Dana grow up in opposite worlds, one in peace and the other in crime. When their paths cross inside a criminal empire, the truth about their past threatens to destroy them both.

The year is 1943. At his last breath, partisan Gani asks his friends to make sure that his daughter Sherka is married on the date set in advance for her wedding. Once the wedding ceremony starts, they find out that the bridegroom is a collaborator of the invaders. Sherka decides to cancel her wedding and joins her father s friends in their struggle for the liberation of the country.
