A wealthy young couple has a different lifestyle than a neighboring middle-aged couple, but both face intimate issues that impact their private lives.

Five centuries of persecution and the struggle of the Macedonian people for freedom and an independent Macedonian state in which freedom will reign equally for all, have created their own myth and tradition for themselves. The struggles, sufferings, betrayals and self-sacrifice were later translated and woven through Macedonian songs, stories, tales and plays. Starting from there, this TV movie approaches the events of that time.

The unexpected death of the insignificant and modest official Krste Krstevski, a tenant and unmarried man all his life, surprises his colleagues and acquaintances. Only then is he able to avenge their petty plots, and it can even be said that his real life begins after his death.

After her son's tragic death, Helena abducts her employee, Lucian, and travels with him and her husband to scatter her son's ashes in Macedonia. Meanwhile, Lucian's lover struggles to provide for their son and break free from her dictatorial father.

The action takes place in one day, on the street and in the fancy part of the town. It is a hot day in August. There is a truck parked with watermelons for sale. A father and his son, both farmers, are selling the watermelons. The son, 15-year-old Dime, glares at a girl who lives here, the 14-year old Eli. They grow to like each other, exchange shy glances, their first meeting is puzzling. The fluid creates a frail glow of first love ... But, the parents interfere and they ruin the innocence of the first love.

Every day in Petar's life is worse than the previous one, which means that every new day is the worst day in his life, until... one day a mysterious, mute stranger starts hitting Petar at his head with an umbrella. He hits without an intention to stop. Whatever Petar does to liberate himself from this menace, the strange little man is constantly by his side.

A tragicomedy on displaced people in the post-Communist era. Its protagonist are mostly oldtimers from the circus world and the variety stage. When the circus burns down and the "last performance" ends in tragedy, the fault for the loss is laid upon corrupt officials and smalltime gangsters. Veteran screen star Meri Boshkova - who played the title role in the first Macedonian feature film made, Frosina (1952) - can be seen in the role of Mimi, a woman at the dumpyard who lives with her dreams.

Incited by the awakening words of the broken educator and the emerging, ferocious leader of the pack, the boys take the path of revenge, which soon escalates into a spiral of violence and takes them deep into the catacombs of the criminal underworld.

Brothers and their sister come to their native village on their deceased father's burial. Each of them has own plan of taking particular area of property, but in the will their father left behind it is stated they can use the lot only together. They leave the village in disappointment.

In March 1903, amidst the crumbling Ottoman Empire, Macedonia remains unliberated, with its revolutionary movement burgeoning. In retaliation for supporting freedom fighters, the Turks besiege a wedding, capturing over two hundred villagers and sentencing them to lengthy prison terms. These prisoners are then transported to Asia Minor, enduring severe hardships and humiliation through the desert, with many perishing along the way before reaching their final destination in October 1908.

The action takes place in Thessaloniki, where Cande, the son of the Prilep pilgrim, deceives his father and takes 3000 altans for trade, but spends them on his mistress Fatime. The plot begins when his father, Aji Jankula, comes with his servant Sekula to look for Cande and teams up with Itar Pejo, a servant of Yashar Bey, who also longs for Fatime.

He is young, enthusiastic, well-mannered and a charming and committed teacher with an invincible spirit who wants to bring all innovations from the New World, which is Europe, to the Balkans. He opposes traditional Balkan skepticism and does not accept the status quo.

Mile is the eldest brother who is opposed to the existence of a guesthouse with precise rules. Receptionist Jelena is the only employee in the boarding school and is "a girl for everything. Jelena often has conflicts with the Ula because of her sexuality and a spanking relationship with Costa as well as with the guest in the boarding house. Mario is a Croat, a Buddhist. He is a chef at a boarding house who does not know how to cook, there is just because he is Tony's partner. Jelena helps Mario to order food from nearby localities.
