The EU's first climate quota was put up for sale in 2005. The idea was that trading quotas would reduce CO2 emissions and thus save the planet from global warming. But the system has collapsed, and Denmark has instead become the center of one of the world's fastest-growing scams. Experts and Europol estimate that treasuries across Europe lost up to DKK 70 billion to hackers and VAT fraudsters from around the world. And never before in human history have CO2 emissions been as high as they are now. The quota system has collapsed, and prices have fallen by 90%. From the jet set to the schoolyard! Cocaine is more prevalent in Denmark than ever before. And those who use cocaine are getting younger and younger. In the 1980s and 1990s, cocaine was a luxury drug reserved for the rich and sophisticated. The price was well over 1,000 kroner per gram, which automatically relegated the drug to fashionable circles. Today, the price of the white powder has more than halved, and cocaine has spread to all corners of Danish society. In the program, we meet students at a public school in Assens on Funen, where students as young as fifth graders have sold drugs during recess. Singer Nanna and author Henrik List also talk about their own experiences with cocaine.
