ABC Saturday Movie of the Week is a weekly American anthology series that airs on ABC. The series began as the replacement for ABC's Big Picture Show and as a revival of ABC's Movie of the Week theme. Since its inception, it has been ABC's main platform for airing theatrical movies, although other movies air as part of the movie of the week format during the holiday season and as special presentations. As such, ABC airs a movie on every night of the week at some point during the television season styled as [Insert Day] Movie of the Week.

Shenanigans was a children's television game show that aired on ABC Saturday mornings from September 26, 1964 to March 20, 1965, and again from September 25 to December 18, 1965. The show was a revival of Video Village, produced by Merrill Heatter and Bob Quigley, and also featured a life-size game board. The series began as local programming in New York City and later aired nationally on ABC. Stubby Kaye, dubbed "the Mayor of Shenanigans", hosted the program, and Kenny Williams, known as "Kenny the Cop", was the announcer. Williams portrayed a similar role on Video Village.

The Generation Gap was a primetime American game show that aired from February 7 to May 23, 1969 on ABC. It was originally hosted by Dennis Wholey for the first ten episodes, after which he was replaced by Jack Barry. Fred Foy announced during the entire run. Two teams of three players competed – one composed of people under the age of thirty, the other being people over thirty. At least one member of each team was a well-known celebrity, occasionally playing against a relative on the other team.

AM America is a morning news program produced by ABC in an attempt to compete with the highly rated Today on NBC. The show never found an audience after its premiere on January 6, 1975. Lasting just under ten months, its final installment aired on October 31. The program's concept was based on Ralph Story's AM, the local morning show on the network's owned-and-operated Los Angeles station KABC-TV. Like Today, AM America employed two hosts and a news anchor. ABC chose Bill Beutel, who was co-anchor of Eyewitness News on the network's New York City flagship station WABC-TV, and Stephanie Edwards from Ralph Story's AM to host the program. Peter Jennings, who at the time was ABC's Washington correspondent, provided the news reports. One notable episode of AM America aired on April 25, 1975, when members of the British comedy troupe Monty Python made one of their earliest appearances on American television. Edwards quit the show by the end of May, and Beutel followed her out a few months later. On November 3, the Monday following its final broadcast, AM America was replaced by Good Morning America.

The Superstars", a fresh take on an old favorite, is based on ABC's classic "Wide World of Sports" series, "The Superstars", which pitted athletes from all different sports against each other to determine the best athlete in the world. Eight celebrities are paired with eight professional male and female athletes to compete against each other in varying sporting events. Each week a team will be eliminated until one team is ultimately crowned the winner. Competitors' athletic prowess will be put to the test with events including swimming, biking, running and kayaking, in addition to other head-to-head athletic challenges that will test strength, speed, stamina, agility, as well as an element of strategy. The six-episode series will be shot entirely on location at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas.

Welcome to the Neighborhood is an American reality television series produced in 2005 by ABC that was notable for the amount of controversy it garnered before it was aired. It subsequently became one of the few American TV series to be cancelled before airing a single episode. The show was a contest to win a lush dream home in an exclusive cul-de-sac in Circle C Ranch in Austin, Texas. The catch is that the local families decide who will win, and while they are all conservative, white, upper-class Christians, all the contestants are not.

The Night They Saved Christmas is a 1984 RHI Entertainment Christmas film, executive produced by Robert Halmi, Senior and Junior; and originally developed for ABC. The film is about an oil company dynamiting in the North Pole in search of an oil field, unaware that they are endangering Santa Claus. The movie stars Jaclyn Smith and Art Carney.

Patrol Boat is an Australian television drama series that screened on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Patrol Boat was created by James Davern and two series were produced, in 1979 and 1983, with a total of 26 episodes. Patrol Boat was about the activities of the crew of a Royal Australian Navy patrol boat which patrolled Australia's coastline. The series was produced with the co-operation of the Royal Australian Navy. Two fictional RAN patrol boats were depicted in the series. Attack class patrol boat HMAS Ambush was used in the first season, with filming taking place during 1978 and 1979 around Sydney Harbour, Pittwater, Ku-ring-gai Chase, and the Hawkesbury River. For the second season, the crew transferred to the newer Fremantle class patrol boat HMAS Defiance. The series is similar to the BBC series Warship, screened by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from 1976, before Patrol Boat. Although the 2007 drama Sea Patrol is based on the same subject, it is not intended to be a follow on to Patrol Boat.

Little Clowns of Happytown is an American animated television series that aired on ABC on Saturday morning from September 26, 1987 to July 16, 1988.

ABC 2000 Today is ABC News's coverage of New Year's Eves around the world. Part of the 2000 Today programming in the United States, Peter Jennings anchored the 23 hours and 10 minutes of broadcast in Times Square Studios in Manhattan, New York. ABC temporarily converted the Good Morning America marquee broadcast studio into a type of "millennium command center" that included a desk, where a standing Jennings spent most of his time, two lounge chairs, where Jennings would interview guests, a large screen with a time-zone included map of the world, a wall of clocks, and a makeshift newsroom where ABC News staffers would follow the latest developments.

Good Behavior was a drama/comedy television series pilot that was never picked up by the ABC network. It was based on the New Zealand series Outrageous Fortune. It was being produced by ABC and written and developed by Rob Thomas. The series was set to be broadcast in 2009. Good Behavior revolved around a family of criminals who decide to go straight after the father is jailed. The lead role in the pilot was portrayed by Catherine O'Hara, with Mae Whitman playing her daughter. Other cast members include DJ Qualls, Gary Cole, Jeffrey Tambor, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Treat Williams, Steve Harris and Marilu Henner. A new adaptation titled Scoundrels was picked up by the network in early 2010. Eight episodes aired between June and August 2010.

The Mini-Munsters was an animated one-hour telefilm that was aired as part of The ABC Saturday Superstar Movie in 1973, and was based on the characters from The Munsters.

Take a Good Look is an American television game show created by and starring Ernie Kovacs, which aired from 1959-61 on ABC's Thursday-night block at 10:30 PM Eastern. Season 1 consisted of 39 episodes, from October 22, 1959 to July 21, 1960. Season 2 was far shorter, airing just 14 episodes between October 27, 1960 and February 9, 1961. 20 episodes were repackaged for syndication in September 1978.

100 Grand is an American game show hosted by Jack Clark. The series ran for three episodes, weekly on Sunday nights from September 15 to 29, 1963 on the highly-touted "New ABC" as the network's attempt to bring back high-stakes game shows after the quiz show scandals of 1958. When 100 Grand made its debut, it had been two years since any large jackpots comparable to the quiz shows had aired on any broadcast network, and it would be over a decade more before six-figure jackpots returned to television.

Stand By for Crime is an American police drama that aired on ABC on Saturday nights from January 11, 1949 to August 27, 1949. The series stars veteran newsman Mike Wallace under his real name, Myron Wallace. The series is notable for being the first program to be transmitted from Chicago to New York.

Gruen Playhouse is a dramatic anthology series that aired on ABC and the now-defunct DuMont Television Network. Sponsored by the Gruen Watch Company, the series aired on ABC on Thursdays at 9:30pm EST, and on DuMont on Thursdays at 9pm EST. From January to March 1952, Gruen Playhouse alternated with Shadow of the Cloak on DuMont. The 30-minute dramas featured actors such as Carolyn Jones, Raymond Burr, and Bonita Granville.

The Money or the Gun was an Australian comedy/talk-show on the ABC network. It ran from 1989 to 1990, with occasional specials until 1994. It was written by Andrew Denton, Simon Dodd, Bruce Griffiths, and George Dodd, directed by Martin Coombes and produced by Mark Fitzgerald. Each episode was based on a significant theme, with Denton interviewing a number of people as well as conducting vox pops on the street. Significant episodes include "Guns-The Musical" and the award-winning episode on disabilities, "The Year of the Patronising Bastard". In 1993, a one-off special was called "Topic of Cancer", which talked to teenagers with cancer. In 2003, Denton held a 10-year reunion for the people on the 1993 show, as part of his ABC interview programme Enough Rope.
