The play revolves around a successful lawyer named Mourad, married to Susann, whom he trusts blindly. Abla comes to visit her friend Sawsan to complain about the actions of her husband, Raafat, the author of the series, questioning her husband's behavior and betraying her. Differences between Murad and Susann after her knowledge of his date with Ismat and events follow in a dramatic drama.

Salma Shamel’s Those That Tremble as if They Were Mad is a wry lamentation of a future not grasped. In the aftermath of Egypt’s 2011 revolution a government committee was set up to compile an archive of the revolution’s events, only to be dissolved following a coup. Through a parade of the committee’s ephemera of CD-ROMs, certificates and contracts, Those That Tremble mourns what could have been, to a soundscape of mass distress.

An invisible woman films her own people during the revolution. This takes place in a country called Syria, between 2011 and 2017.

The woman in the film returns to Beirut after many years of absence. Her return wasn't meant, she came to bury her mother. A walk at dawn leads her deep into the city which on its turn leads her to Abdallah, her past lover. But the gap of time, space and experience make this encounter impossible, or elsewhere.

Zahi returns from Germany to Lebanon to receive the corpse of his father who was kidnapped in the Lebanese civil war for 35 years. When he goes to the hospital to collect the corpse to bury it, he discovers that the corpse disappeared again. Zahi finds himself stuck between two worlds where he cannot relate or communicate with either of them while trying to explore the possibility of such a disappearance.

Two young people try to record music inside the camp for a competition. If they succeed, they have the chance to make a music album. Because of the chaos and problems in the camp, things go wrong at first. Finally, the two come up with the idea of recording the sounds of the camp instead — and turning them into music…

Sama is in denial over the recent death of her twin brother, Mousa. On the first birthday anniversary following his passing, she finally decides to visit his grave to fulfil an old promise. However; the cemetery guard objects to her staying past sunset. Sama sneaks back in determined, least expecting that her second encounter with the guard, is her wake up call to submit to her loss.

It is the story of two friends, one a Muslim, Sheik Metwalli, and the other a Coptic Christian, Barsoum, both unemployed, suffering from hunger, and competing for a job in a bank. When the bank’s director mistakes them for wealthy businessmen, he takes them to his home for a lavish lunch. But upon learning their actual status, he chases them out of the house. At the film’s conclusion, as the two friends rest on the sidewalk absorbing their long-overdue meal, they are arrested by a policeman.
