The film is based on a true event that happened a long time ago in a village near Visoko (Bosnia) that no longer exists... The story seeks to bring the spirit of tradition and customs that reigned and remind of now-forgotten values.

This documentary tells about the incident which happened on Januar 21, 1993 in the town of Trebinje (Republika Srpska), when a local Serb, Srđan Aleksić, aged 27, stood in defense of Bosniak Muslim Alen Glavović, who was attacked by four soldiers of entity's armed forces. Infuriated rowdies then attacked Aleksić himself, who 6 days later succumbed to fatal wounds. It is a story about one man's heroism during the times of his nation's moral low point.
