Saharawi women have always been at the forefront of the resistance against colonialism and the plunder of their territory by Morocco. In spite of Morocco’s repression, intensified by the collapse of the ceasefire with the Polisario Front in November 2020, activists living under occupation gathered to document the violence perpetrated against their daughters, mothers, sisters and grandmothers since 1975. This documentary explores this historical process through the voices of its protagonists in their triple roles as victims, researchers, and international activists. A sensitive and close analysis of these experiences is complemented by animations and statistics little known to the general public. The result is an astonishing record of the gravity and extent of the violence exercised by Morocco against women, but also a photograph of colonialism from a gender perspective that emphasizes the unwavering strength of these activists to fight for their people’s rights.

The documentary sheds light on Syrian history in the context of its civilizational development and formation over many centuries, sharpens the viewer's attention to the changes in public opinion that have taken place over time. To reveal social processes, the author uses a special monologue method, and the vision itself is realized by combining the internal analysis of the hero of the film and its director, who returns to Syria and sees his country after a long absence differently, than it was before the war. The film shows the destruction and vandalism caused by terrorists in many archeological, religious and residential areas of the country, which became dangerous for the population, especially in late 2015 and early 2016 - the most difficult phases of the war on Syrian soil.

Through references to gender roles and the female experience, Sara Abu Abdallah's work explores issues of obscurity and value, probing the social and cultural conditions of life in contemporary Saudi Arabia. In her multidisciplinary practice, she creates associations of the poetic and the absurd. Saudi Automobile consists of an installation and a 10-minute looped video that shows Sarah Abu Abdallah painting the shell of a wrecked car with light pink paint, mainly as a gesture of defiance against the monopolisation of the privilege of driving by the men in her home country at the time. She paints the wrecked car like icing a cake, as if beautifying the exterior would fix its disfunctionality. In this exhibition, Abu Abdullah’s pink car is placed outside on the Platform of The Flying Saucer

Bait Al Wurud was intended as commentary on disputes on inheritance. It evolved into a meditation on loss. The 12 minute video, depicts a shadow through a window of a sunset at the artist's grandfather's house. When the video is watched intentionally, the 12 minutes feel perpetual, yet when the viewer is not paying attention, it seems to be fleeting. Alaa wanted to capture both the feeling of longing and dread, manifested through capturing the sunsets shadow on the wall; a phenomena that happens daily in the house, even when no one is around to see it.
