The Wetzlar flood disaster of 1920. The film shows the old Lahn bridge during the flood and a view of the river downstream from the bridge. The street Am Mühlgraben is flooded. In Langgasse, people carry each other so they don't get dirty. Boats are sailing in front of the "Goldenes Ross" building. It used to be an inn: Ernst Leitz I lived there when he came to Wetzlar.
