A research into the unusual life path of Ilija Dzadzev – musician, Hawaiian and classical guitar virtuoso, poet, philosopher, geography teacher. A story of the quest for a lost novel in manuscript. A story about the adventures of a Hawaiian guitar. This man-phenomenon played over 6,000 free concerts across the world, without making a difference between playing in front of people from the top or from the bottom. He played for presidents, beggars, miners, kindergarten children, students in cafeterias, field workers, replacing concert halls with maternity wards, graveyards, nursing homes, mine shafts, passenger and military ships, watchtowers, prisons, psychiatric hospitals, as well as squares in the major cities of the world, traveling more than 4 million kilometers with his guitar.

One day, the old man is extremely disturbed by the fact that the bell from the other village is silent. He decides to go to the other village, where he finds his friend dead. He buries him and then returns to his everyday life. After a while, the old man is disturbed again when the usual silence is broken by the bell from the other village.

This feature-documentary film depicts the life of an Albanian family that constantly lives in fear of blood feuds. The main character and, conditionally speaking, the hero in this film, is a single mother who constantly works to support her children. They are forced to sit isolated within four walls. With several close-ups of the mother's face, the psychological pressure and unrest that she carries within her is captured. However, after a series of random circumstances, the blood-shattered families are reconciled. One of the main reasons is the mother's donated blood for the child of the blood-shattered family.

The film is a collage of photographs about the life of a boy, a printing worker, who from the earliest days becomes a member of SKOJ and KPJ and gives his life for their ideas, along with his girlfriend. Over the years, the Manaki brothers have been mythologized, and the addition of new and unconfirmed information in order to increase their importance is unnecessary and harmful, because their work is of great cultural importance not only in Macedonia, but also in the wider Balkan context. For this reason, every fact and opinion presented in the movie MANAKI – A STORY IN PICTURES has been carefully researched and confirmed with presented artifacts. The story is told through original documentary photographs following their work from the opening of the first professional studio in 1898 in Ioannina and later moving to Bitola, now known as the town of the Manaki brothers.
