They embark on a journey through a bleak, industrial landscape where collective farms and cities have been transformed into machines that torment people, and the tentacles of the totalitarian system reach every corner of the world. Realizing that the wall is made of living flesh, Vasia and Goopis decide to escape.

The main emphasis is on the Baltic heritage. Three main characters of "Semme" are eager to preserve the old ethnocultural traditions: cartographer Tadas Sidiskis, pagan priest Jonas Trinkunas, folk craftsmen Algirdas Verseckas. The main purpose of "Semme" is to reveal the alternative views to the old traditions and the national identity. Movie will show trip to old forest, pagan customs and offerings, medieval crafts.

In 1991, when Lithuania's statehood was threatened, the whole country responded to the call to defend independence. People from the capital and various cities and towns across the country traveled to Vilnius to guard the most important state objects and stood guard over them for days on end.

A documentary is based on authentic witness stories and unique archival shots. The main heroes of the film, the then 20-year-olds, after 25 years, remember the events of January 1991, which led to their further fate. The stories are illustrated by the footage stored in personal archives and not yet seen before, which reveals the events of the night of January 13 and the eve of January. In 1991, the filmed amateur shots speak witnesses of the events at the TV tower and the Radio and Television Committee. As a result of the injuries, they testify directly from the hospital wards about the events of the seizure of the most important objects of the country.
